A man was found dead in Whitfield County on Tuesday.
The Whitfield County Coroner’s Office was dispatched around 8:15 p.m. to New Zion Hill Road in reference to a deceased man. He was identified as William Henry Thompson II, 53.
The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation will release more information as it becomes available.
