The Walker Valley and Cleveland boys, plus the Bradley Central girls captured sweeps in area golf action Thursday afternoon.
The Mustangs and Bearettes notched their victories in trimatch action with Soddy Daisy, at Flagstone Golf Club in Cleveland.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland boys did the same over Rhea County and host McMinn County, at Springbrook GC, in Niota.
All three local programs will play in the Hurricane Invitational, Monday at WindStone GC, in Ringgold, Ga.
Putting together their lowest nine-hole team score of the campaign, the Mustangs carded a 4-over 146 to down the Bears by a dozen (158) and Soddy Daisy by 26 (172).
"The boys posted our best score of the season," remarked Herd wrangler Will Campbell.
"Harrison Yost played really well, shooting a season low 33.
"Hope to carry some of that momentum into Monday's Hurricane Invitational at WindStone. The girls continue improve as well. Excited to see their development by seasons end."
Along with Yost's 3-under, the Mustangs got 1-over 37s from Malachi Maples and freshman Cody Walter, plus a 3-over 39 from sophomore Drew Thompson. Knox Finch posted a 42 in support.
Bradley seniors Andrew Suttles and Andrew Walker led the attack with a 1-over 37 and 3-over 39, respectively.
Junior Braxton Reagan helped out with a 40, while senior Jacob Rayfield capped the Bear score with a 42. Bentley Catlett shot 45 in support.
In the girls action, the Bearettes posted a 5-over 77, with senior Addie Geren shooting even-par, dropping the Lady Trojans by eight strokes (85) and Lady Mustangs by 28 (105).
"Our girls played very well and continue to alternate lowest score between all three varsity girls," commented Bradley assistant coach Colby Ownbey.
The Bearettes had matching 41s from senior Colby Ann Turner and freshman Avery Chastain.
Starting a pair of freshmen, Walker Valley's ladies got a 46 from Callie Kessler and Emilynn Brown carded a 59.
"Walker Valley's boys had a very strong day and Soddy Daisy is a young, but talented team who played well despite many never playing there (Flagstone) before."
Cleveland coach Lamar Mills also felt good about his team's seven-shot victory, firing a 155, while McMinn edged Rhea 162-163 for second place.
"Great (half) round from Brody (Williford) this evening leading the boys with a 1-under 35. He has really been our most consistent player over the last few matches.
"Dalton (Franklin) still continues to play really well also. Our 3, 4 and 5 men are getting really close to breaking that 40 mark in the match.
"I am pleased with our current progress, but we still have work to do before we hit final home stretch of the regular season. Look forward to seeing how we can play WindStone as a team on Monday."
Also with Williford's low-medalist 35, Franklin tied for third place individually with a 2-over 38.
Freshman Tucker Smith and sophomore Lee Windham rounded out the team tally with 41s, while Matt Milen shot 42 in support.
At Springbrook, all three girls' teams struggle some with McMinn winning with a 96, while the Lady Eagles carded a 107 and Lady Raiders 112.
"Our girls played shorthanded this evening missing Zoie Stinnett due to cheer and Sophia Rosenberg being out sick for this match," related Coach Mills. "Girls were lead by senior Ava Robbins with a 50 and Reagan Weiss carded a 62.
