Morning Pointe of Hixson Senior Living is inviting the community to lace up for a cause at the inaugural March for Monarchs, happening Saturday, Sept. 6 from 9-11 a.m.
The family-friendly event features a one-mile community walk, a shorter Mini March (quarter mile) for kids, strollers and all abilities, and a special monarch butterfly release at 11 a.m. Along the route, participants will earn stamps toward a commemorative butterfly pin.
Registration is $20 per adult and $10 per child.
“March for Monarchs is more than just a walk—it’s a way to bring families, neighbors and friends together to support the next generation of nursing students,” said Samantha Parker, community relations director “Every step taken help fund scholarships and caregiver programs that directly impact our community.”
Registration available online.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing nursing therapy and culinary arts scholarships at partnering schools and supporting caregiver education across the Southeast.
