The East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra (ETSO) named its newest recipient of the True North Advisors-Raymond James scholarship.

Every year, the Collegedale-based nonprofit organization awards $1,000 to a student at the high school or college level who participates in the orchestra. Consideration is given to those who carry the spirit of the ETSO

Victoria Castro was named the 2025 True North Advisors-Raymond James Scholarship recipient and was recognized during the annual Collegedale Freedom Festival at The Commons.
Victoria is a long-time musician with the ETSO and plans to study nursing at Cleveland State Community College. She is currently a volunteer at Erlanger Hospital.

"Victoria is the silent type that leads from whatever position she plays in the orchestra," said ETSO Music Director Jeremy Francisco. "We are honored to award Victoria with this scholarship for her years of dedication to the ETSO."
