McLemore Resort’s signature Songwriter’s Series returns on July 17 with music from James Slater + Tom Douglas. The series is made possible by First Bank and Land Rover Chattanooga. Local singer/songwriter Ally Thomas will open the night.
“Especially at this time of year, the Songwriter’s Series draws guests to enjoy beautiful summer evenings high above the clouds, with temperatures below what you will find off the mountain,” said Resort President Mike Burton. “Drawing great talent to our stage has positioned the series as a not-to-be-missed evening, and we’re looking forward to welcoming friends and guests for another great performance.”

After high school, Thomas journeyed to Belmont University in Nashville, where she studied under some of the music industry’s most established songwriters, producers, and executives.
