Rex G. Card
Rex Card, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and owner of Card and Chattanooga Bonding Company passed away on Thursday at his home from medical complications. Rex was 65.
Rex graduated from Hixson High School in 1977 and was a member of the Hixson Golf Team and attended UTC. He was a longtime member of the Valleybrook Golf and Country Club. Rex was a charismatic fun loving man that never met a stranger and loved to tell jokes and would always make you laugh. Rex always left a lasting impression on anyone he met and you would always know where he was in any restaurant/bar that you might be in. He was a lover of all animals but had a special love for his cats. Rex is loved by many friends and will be deeply missed. “We love you Rex”.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Cybil Card.
He is survived by Howard R. Pepple of Memphis, Tn.
Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home on Hixson Pike this Friday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday, from 12-2:30 p.m. with services starting at 2:30 p.m. and ending graveside at Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Highway 153 in Hixson.

A Celebration of Life “Come have a drink with Rex” will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 4-10 p.m. at The Car Barn Venue, 6721 Heritage Business Ct., Chattanooga, off of Lee Highway. Must be 21 years of age.
