The Chattanooga Airport is thriving. March 2026 set a record for enplanements that were six percent over March last year, deplanements were up six percent and cargo was up by four percent. Overall operations were up 48 percent in the month, said April Cameron, president and CEO of the airport. And the month of April has also seen significant growth. Most athletic competions involving Baylor and GPS are always classic. Regardless of the team records, these two bring out the best in each other. But that wasn’t the case as the two proud programs played softball at the T.A. Lupton Field on the campus at GPS Tuesday afternoon. Both teams have had exceptional seasons to this point with GPS having a 20-5 record coming in with Baylor at 16-6-2. Fatmata "Fats" Janneh (FAT-mott-uh JAN-nuh), who was the leading rebounder and three-point shooter and second-leading scorer at Texas A&M last season, became the sixth player out of the portal to sign an Institutional Financial Aid Agreement (IFAA), Lady Vol head coach Kim Caldwell confirmed on Wednesday.
