Ronnie Porter Charged In Robbery Of Man Who Went To Sell An I-Phone

Police have charged Ronnie Jermaine Porter in connection with a holdup when a man went to sell a cell phone.

Porter, 25, of 1019 Peachtree St., was charged with aggravated robbery.

In an incident on Monday, two men said they took an Uber to 819 Wheeler Ave. after setting up the deal on the ap Letgo.

The men said a man at that location grabbed the Apple I-Phone. When he tried to get the phone back, three men pulled guns on them. They fled.

Police went to the location and surrounded the residence.

They found Porter inside along with a Taurus handgun and marijuana.
