Kim Shumpert, executive director of Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute (CWLI) announces Sharayah Caouette as CWLI’s new director of operations and programs.  Ms. Caouette has general oversight to all program implementation and evaluation of the organization under the executive director and board of directors in accordance with CWLI’s mission.

Ms. Caouette brings with her over 10 years experience in client relations and leadership. Prior to her role at CWLI, she devoted four and a half years of service to a local medical aesthetic practice.
"As the executive director, she cultivated a team of passionate and professional women and successfully led them through a corporate merger," officials said.

Ms. Caouette is a Michigan native, relocating to Tennessee in 2000. She graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2008 with a bachelor of science in public relations.  "Her focus is to walk alongside success-driven women in order to help each other develop valuable leadership skills. Using her talents and experience, she seeks to provide more opportunities for growth and networking for our local community of women in leadership roles," officials said.

“When seeking to fill this position, we knew we needed someone with both administrative and interpersonal acumen. We are fortunate to have found someone who not only possesses these qualities but demonstrates a passion for creating an ecosystem that embraces the talents the next generation will give us. As the mother of a daughter, as well as a business professional, Sharayah brings holistic insight to our team.
