Hamilton County Has 110 More COVID Cases; Tennessee Has Had 3,241 Deaths, 254,220 Cases

Hamilton County had no more deaths from coronavirus on Wednesday, as the toll climbed to 110. There were 110 new cases, compared to 133 on Tuesday, bringing the total to 12,312. There have been 100 or more new cases in Hamilton County for the last eight days.

There have been 11,074 people recover from the virus in the county, 90 percent, and there are currently 1,128 active cases, compared to 1,144 on Tuesday. 

Hamilton County has 91 people hospitalized from COVID-19., including 32 county residents. There are 22 people in intensive care.

There were 2,446 new coronavirus cases in the state on Wednesday for a total of 254,220.

 

Tennessee had 34 more coronavirus deaths bringing the total to 3,241, state Health Department officials said. 

The state currently has 1,254 people hospitalized from the virus, 117 fewer than on Tuesday.

There have been 224,822 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (88 percent).


Testing numbers are above 3.595 million across the state.

Davidson County: 32,483 cases, up 308; 346 deaths, up 5

Knox County: 13,049 cases, up 93; 95 deaths, up 3

Bledsoe County:  1,033 cases, up 7; 4 deaths

Bradley County: 3,667 cases, up 26; 23 deaths

Grundy County: 585 cases, up 7; 11 deaths

Marion County: 809 cases, up 15; 10 deaths

Meigs County: 332 cases, up 2; 6 deaths

Polk County: 533 cases, up 6; 13 deaths

Rhea County: 1,132 cases, up 2; 19 deaths, up 1

Sequatchie County: 357 cases; 2 deaths
