Edith Adams, age 87, of Highway #114, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, in a local nursing home.
A native of Cedar Bluff, Al., she was born July 30, 1932 to the late William (W. T.) and Ettie Jane Abercrombie Millican. Mrs. Adams was retired from Mohawk Industries, a member of West Summerville Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Adams, and siblings, Willie Jane Millican, Katherine McCauley, J. B. Millican, and Cecil Millicanr.
Surviving are sister and spouse, Annie Ruth and Robert Love; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held Sunday, May 24, in West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tracy Espy and Rev. Freddy Waldrop officiating. Active pallbearers will be Curtis Cleveland, Brandon Seymore, Robert Love, Steve Strickland, Kyle Millican, and Chad Millican. Honorary pallbearers are Hugh Millican, Wayne Lee, and members of West Summerville Baptist Church.
