Melissa Ilene Hidon-Marsh
Melissa Ilene Hidon-Marsh, age 65, of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 2, 2021.
She was born March 19, 1956. She was a lifelong resident of North GA and was a member of the Baptist faith. She is preceded by her mother, Prinel Avans-Batey, and father, Marlon Higdon.
Survivors are her loving family, children, Chantay (Norman) Lay and Brittney Williams; grandchildren, Marlon, Shakira, Andrew, Norman, Destney, Mya, Ricosta Jr., Jicosta, Elijah, Azaria; great-grandchildren, Steven, Jayce, Kiyomi, Leilani, Niyomi, Jacob; siblings, Peggy Wortman and Gregory Higdon; best friend, Cyndi Daniels; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
She also played a role in helping raise and foster a number of children throughout their lifetime.
Services will be held at a later date.
