Chamber To Host One-Day Leadership Seminar

  • Wednesday, August 4, 2021

The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce will host Leadercast “Shift,” on Aug. 27 at First Baptist Cleveland from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sponsored by Southern Champion Tray, Church of God International Offices and Pathway Press, this one-day leadership conference will equip community leaders with the skills to shift goals and expectations in the midst of unexpected change and adversity, said officials.

“After a year of unavoidable change in 2020, many are looking to learn how to successfully navigate through life’s greatest shifts,” said Mike Griffin, chamber president and CEO. “This conference will give community members an opportunity to rejuvenate and reposition their leadership skills.”

Leadercast is an annual conference based in Cincinnati, Ohio and simulcast to hundreds of locations around the world. Leadercast “Shift” will feature presentations by well-known speakers including: Rainn Wilson, SAG Award winning actor founder of SoulPancake; Andy Stanley, leadership author and communicator; and Sunny Parr, executive director of the Kroger Co. Foundation.

For 20 years, Leadercast conferences have united Cleveland organizations and individuals as they come together to grow in leadership. Local leaders like Andrea Boddeker, owner of Carroll Printing, look forward to this event each year to strengthen their team’s leadership as well as their own.

“Having the ability to learn from so many great leaders at the same time and in the same room with my team created an extremely tangible and real time learning experience...Leadercast is a great experience for any leaders and even long term members who may not be in a leadership role,” said Ms. Boddeker.

This seminar allows attendees to earn Continuing Education Unit credits through SHRM, Georgia College and HRCI. Georgia College offers .5/5 credit hours, SHRM 4.75 credit hours and HRCI 5.0 credit hours. Apply for CEUs at leadercast.com/shift, and use event code Shift21.
