Chattanooga's Five Star Breaktime Solutions Expands Reach In Louisville

  • Wednesday, September 11, 2024
Chattanooga-based Five Star Breaktime Solutions today announces the acquisition of Top of the Line (TOTL) Food Service, a family-owned business that has served the greater Louisville area with vending, micro markets and office coffee services for over 14 years. "This acquisition further strengthens Five Star’s footprint in Kentucky and enhances its ability to deliver innovative breakroom solutions to its customers," officials said.

Top of the Line Food Service was founded in 2010 by Tom Williams, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the vending industry.
With the support of his wife, Reisa, and daughter, Tomblyn, He launched the business from his kitchen. Under their leadership, TOTL grew into a multi-route service provider, offering not only traditional vending, but also micro markets and office coffee services, serving customers across the region.

After a successful career spanning more than three decades, Mr. Williams has made the decision to retire and spend more time with his wife, traveling and enjoying life with their five grandchildren. In doing so, he has entrusted Five Star Breaktime Solutions with continuing the family legacy he built. To ensure a smooth and seamless transition for customers, Five Star will hire several of TOTL’s employees, allowing them to maintain the level of service that has been a hallmark of TOTL, while introducing additional resources to further enhance the customer experience.

"We are excited to partner with the Williams family and to continue serving the fine customers that Tom and his family have cared for over the years," said the CEO of Five Star Breaktime Solutions. "With our combined resources, we look forward to expanding our offerings in vending, micro markets, and office coffee services, ensuring that every client has an elevated breaktime experience."

Officials said, "Five Star Breaktime Solutions wishes Tom and Reisa all the best in their retirement and looks forward to honoring the Williams family's commitment to service excellence as it expands its reach into the Louisville market."
