Michelle Ann Maples passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Michelle was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Known as "Grammy" to her favorite people, Michelle's love will forever be cherished by all who knew her.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1963, at a military base in England. She was raised in the Chattanooga area and graduated from Ooltewah High School in 1981. Afterward, she spent several years working as a special education teacher at Central High School.

There are not enough words to describe the impact that Michelle had on everyone around her. Her love poured into every part of her life - whether she was stitching a quilt, preparing a meal, or attending her children's events, she did it all with love. Not only were we lucky to be loved by her, but we were lucky to love her.

She is survived by her parents Eddie and Bobbie Rowland; loving husband, Bryan Maples; son, Bradley Eaton (Samantha Eaton); son, Samuel Eaton; grandchildren Lillian Murphy (Kyle Murphy), Milo Eaton, Patience Eaton, and Phoenix Eaton; and dog Molly. She is also survived by her sisters, Angela Beene (Gary Beene) and Nancy Palmer (Gary Palmer).

Michelle will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and unconditional love.

You are invited to share a personal memory of Michelle or your condolences with her family at her online memorial at www.companionfunerals.com.

Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland and the Cody family are honored to assist the family with these arrangements.
