Dancing With The Chattanooga Stars Competition Announces 2016 Local Celebrity Line-Up

The Partnership for Families, Children and Adults announces its local celebrity
line-up for the 9th annual Dancing with the Chattanooga Stars. Chattanooga’s premier, local celebrity dance competition will take place on June 25 at the Tivoli Theatre. The event features eleven local community leaders in a dance-off to raise money for their chosen Partnership program and take home the coveted mirror ball trophy.

The DWTSC 2016 lineup includes:

  Mrs.
Sherri Anderson: C.P.A., audit manager, Johnson, Hickey & Murchison, P.C
  Sgt. Austin Garrett: police sergeant, City of Chattanooga
  Dr. Chad Eslinger: pediatric dentist, Pediatric Dentistry of Chattanooga of Cleveland, Ooltewah and Ringgold
  Mr. Ray Wright: owner, Wright’s Jewelers
  Mrs. Darlene Smith: community volunteer 
  Mrs. Donna Christian Lowe: COO, Main Street Innovations
  Mr. Joey Winslett: singer/ songwriter, Joey Winslet Band and real estate agent, Signature Brokers, LLC
Mr. Garrett Bruner: regional director of Operations, Sun Tan City
Dr. Martina Harris: director of Nursing, Chattanooga State Community College
Mrs. Cindy Wilson: board certified nurse practitioner and center director, Center for Facial Rejuvenation; and
Mr. Ronald Harris: director of Workplace Diversity, Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Each Chattanooga star will be paired with a professional dancer from local Dance Tonight dance studio. This year, the dancers and celebrities will start rehearsing in January in preparation for the big event. The competitor who raises the most money will win the Grand Dancing Champion Award. All proceeds will benefit Partnership programs. Last year, Dancing with the Chattanooga Stars raised over $270,000 for the Partnership, Chattanooga.
