Lee To Sponsor Business Excellence Symposium

  • Tuesday, September 13, 2016

Lee University will partner again with Cleveland State Community College to present Peak Performance, a business excellence symposium. The symposium will be held Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Cleveland State Community College Johnson Heritage Center.

This year’s conference, “Workforce Challenges and Solutions” will strive to educate its attendants on models of excellence, workplace practices, and innovative applications.

The conference allows for business professionals and students to network, while also gaining valuable knowledge to advance their careers, said officials.

Dr. Chuck Carringer, executive coaching LLC, will deliver the keynote address, “Leadership: Triumphs and Setbacks.”

Lee’s Dr. Caroline Maher-Boulis and Dr. Guy DeLoach will speak among various other community and business leaders.

The symposium will offer panel discussions and workshops. Topics to be covered include internships, healthcare, leadership overtime, and social transparency, among others.

Sponsors and participants include Bayer Health, Cleveland Bradley Chamber of Commerce, Lonza, Santek, and Southern Heritage Bank.
