Steven Hacker
Steven J. Hacker, 34, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
He was born on Aug. 16, 1988, in Fayetteville, North Carolina as an Army brat to Janet Williams-Hall and James Hacker. Steven later grew up in Chattanooga. He was a member of Friendship Community Church and accepted Christ at an early age. He worked several jobs throughout his life. There was nothing he could not do; but ultimately, he was a licensed Welder by trade. He enjoyed music, dancing and hanging out with family and friends. He had a heart of gold, a beautiful smile, could make everyone laugh, and always thought of others. You never had to question how he felt because he always left with, “I love you”! Steven loved his family dearly but held a special spot for his grandmothers, Peggy Williams and Eva Hacker.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles “Lightning” Williams, Sr., James Oliver Hacker, Levert and Ruth Harris.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories: mother, Janet (Jeff) Hall of Chattanooga; father, James (Randi) Hacker of Birmingham, AL; brothers, Sean (Kristal) Hacker, Jeff Hall, Jr, both of Chattanooga, Michael Hacker of New York, and Jaden Hacker of Birmingham, AL; sisters, China Hacker of Texas, Jamie Hacker of Birmingham, JeCobi Spralling of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Zeporah (Jason) Beatty, of Chattanooga; niece, Jordyn Hacker of Chattanooga; nephew, Jackson Hacker of Chattanooga; grandmothers, Peggy Williams of Chattanooga and Eva Hacker of Athens, TN; aunts, Charlotte Williams of Clarksville, TN, JeCobie Williams of Chattanooga, and Tenika Williams of Nashville, TN; great aunts, Patricia Merriwether, Delilah Harris-Scott, both of Chattanooga, and LaVon Harris of South Pittsburg, TN, uncles, Charles Steven Williams Jr. of Nashville, Mario Williams, and Richie Hacker both of Chattanooga; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends.
