Morgan Whaley, 4, of Chickamauga, died Thursday, March 7, 2002, from injuries sustained in a house fire.

Morgan was a student at Mountain View Head Start in the Pre-K program. She attended Rossville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her parents: Buddy and Holly Chambers Whaley; brother, Garrett Whaley; grandparents, David and April Chambers of Lookout Mountain, Buddy and Bobbie Whaley of Rainbow City, Ala.; great-grandparents, Gene and Elizabeth Hicks of Chattanooga Valley, Emma Tow of Rainbow City, Ala.; aunts, Beth Patterson of Orlando, Fla., Amanda Fugat of Maryville, Tenn., Sherry Whaley of Rainbow City; uncles, Scott and Jacob Chambers, both of Lookout Mountain; several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday graveside at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Lookout Mountain with Ministers Steve Riley and Don Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the Bank of Chickamauga, 201 Gordon St., Chickamauga, Ga., for the family.

A memorial service for Morgan will be held at Rossville Church of Christ when Garrett is released from the Cincinnati Shriners Hospital in Ohio and the remaining family returns.
