William Davis, Jr.
William Davis, Jr., 72, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed away on July 20, 2012 at his residence.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was owner of Davis Asphalt Company for over 30 years. He was an avid dirt track race car driver and he loved his 1950 Ford and often would take it to area antique car shows. He will be sadly missed both those who loved and knew him.
Surviving relatives are his wife of 23 years, Norma Davis, son, Johnny Davis of Minnesota, stepson, Michael (Karen) Schmitt of Georgia; daughters, Debbie (Gary) Talley of East Ridge, stepdaughter, Deborah Morgan of Harrison, Tennessee, brother, Raymond Davis of Georgetown, TN., sisters, Shirley McCulley of Guild, TN. Annie Kintz of Georgia, Darlene Albertson of Georgia, Brenda Cline of Georgia, Mary Cathrine Volk, of New York, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tracy Daniels officiating. The interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens - East.
