Joe Dana Spoke At SAR John Sevier Chapter Quarterly Meeting

At the Sons of the American Revolution John Sevier Chapter’s quarterly meeting guest speaker Joe Dana spoke about his mother’s incarceration in the Japanese camps at Manila, Philippines during WWII.  

At the meeting the Tennessee State SAR President inducted the newest member, Andy Riley.  Along with the induction pledge, Mr. Riley also received a Rosetta Pin that represents the colors worn by George Washington during the revolution.  

The Lamplighter SAR certificate was also awarded to George Ison for his contributions to the Center for the Advancement of American Heritage and Thomas Hancock received the George Washington Fellow pin for his contributions to the George Washington Endowment fund.
