Russell Louis Baker, Jr., 74, died at Parkridge Hospital on October 2, 2015. 

He was a lifetime resident of Chattanooga. Having graduated from City High School, he served in the U.S Army.  Known to his family and friends as “Bud”, he was the only son of the late Vera Wheeler and Russell Baker, Sr.  “Bud” was a longtime employee of Duff Brothers from where he retired.  He enjoyed gardening and had a deep love for nature and animals. 

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Greenwood Cemetery.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
