Mrs. Margaret “Teresa” Chase, 61, of Lafayette, departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017. Teresa was a lifelong resident of Lafayette and of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Josephine Frashier; grandson, Hunter Chase; and a nephew, Casey Rackley.
Survivors include husband, Marvin Chase; daughters, Judy (Lamar) McClure, Ashley (Mikie) Smith; son, Marvin (Kristy) Chase, all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Taylor Haygood, Eric (Autumn) Chase, Caitlin Chase, Madison McClure, Gage Chase, Mason Smith, Gracie Smith, Rylee McClure, Bellah Smith, Kayden Smith, Jessica (Josh) Locke and Cody McClure; great-grandchildren, Kinsade Chase, Kylie Chase and Eric Chase, Jr.; sisters, Pam (Kenneth) Tredway, Victoria (Lewis) Crabtree, Joanie (Marc) Keys, Lisa (Larry) Dover, Sharon (Ricky) Pope and Anita (Chip) Crowe; brothers, Bo (Ann) Frashier and Chuckie Frashier. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the LaFayette Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and prior to the service on Saturday. Interment in the Estelle Cemetery.
