Picklesimer, Gloria Jean

Gloria Jean Woolford Picklesimer, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was of the Church of God faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Mary Sue Mullins Woolford; daughter, Angela Woolford; sister, Rita Walker; and brother, Jackie Woolford.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Deason, Roy Deason and Crystal (Tom) Tran; sisters, Carolyn Bean, Alice Lawson, Betty Hayes, Wanda Cobbler, and Donna Huff; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the funeral home chapel, with Min. Gloria Jean Key officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Lookout Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday.
