Chattanooga Team Wins 17U Division I AAU National Championship

Team NLP(TN) from Chattanooga won the 17U Division I AAU National Championship on Sunday with a 61-56 victory over the Miami Runnin' Rebels. The game was televised on ESPN.

Team NLP(TN) program is coached by Brainerd High School Assistant Coach, Steve Cook Jr (Chattanooga Christian High School graduate), while E'Jay Ward (Brainerd High School graduate) serves as his assistant coach.

NLP was led on the court by Jason Jitoboh (6'11" rising Junior at Hamilton Heights). He holds offers from Tennessee, Auburn and Florida as well as Ikcaven "KK" Curry (6'5" rising senior Cleveland High) who holds offers from ETSU, UTC, UAB, So. Alabama, and MTSU.

The team also featured Isaiah Sulack from Believe Academy, Da'Vae Hughley from East Hamilton, Boris Ristanovic, Jaylon Baker, Jacoby Niko Simpkins, Patrick Urey and Tre Jackson from Baylor, Dionte Ware from Cleveland, and Jessie Walker from Brainerd.
