Dee Goodwin Resigns As Cross Country/Track & Field Coach At Dalton State

  • Thursday, February 1, 2018

A little less than a year since assuming the post of Women's Cross Country/Track & Field coach, Dee Goodwin has resigned. Her final day is January 31.

Goodwin had eight athletes named All-Conference (5 Track & Field, 3 Cross Country) in her only season guiding the Roadrunner Cross Country/Track & Field programs. The Women's Cross Country team also posted a third place finish at the SSAC Championships in the Fall of 2017.

"Many thanks to Dee for stepping in and leading our Cross Country and Track program last year," said Dalton State Athletic Director Jon Jaudon.

"Our student-athletes were fortunate to be led by such a servant leader. Dee gave all she could while serving them and Dalton State."

An announcement regarding a successor is expected soon.
