Hutton, Rhodonna Suzanne Nix (Chickamauga)

Rhodonna Suzanne Nix Hutton, 57, of Chickamauga, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Rhodonna has been a resident of Chickamauga for the past 40 years, a graduate of Chattanooga Valley High School, Class of 1979 and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed listing to all types of music, including classic rock, country and gospel and enjoyed crocheting afghans for her loving family. She loved to be with her friends and family, especially the great nieces and nephews; she was known as the family historian, keeping up with family members birthdays, anniversaries, and dates of death. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Jean Nix.

Rhodonna is survived by her father, Kenneth Nix; brothers, Jimmy (Kathie) Nix and Tyre (Jennifer) Nix; nieces and nephew, Savannah Nix, Kaitlyn Hudgins, Amber Nix and Timothy Nix; and great-nephews and great-niece, Zachori Nix, Elijah Hudgins and Haven Burns.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Warren Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Head Springs Cemetery, Valley Head, Al. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.
