Runners participated in the Scenic City Scorcher race Saturday morning. The race is a fast 2-mile run next to the Tennessee River that passes under the Veterans Bridge and into the Heritage Landing neighborhood.

The Chattanooga Lookouts Saturday's game (8/24) against the Montgomery Biscuits was suspended in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Biscuits in front 7-1 and the bases loaded for the Lookouts with no outs.
