Hamilton County VSO Expands Outreach

The Hamilton County Veterans Service Officer is expanding his outreach by holding meetings in two various Hamilton County communities.
 
"This outreach is intended to make it easier for elderly and severely disabled VA claimants to receive help with benefits without having to contend with construction and parking issues in the downtown Chattanooga area," officials said.
 
Effective this month benefits assistance will now be provided in Collegedale on the first and third Thursday of every month. The meetings will be held  at the Collegedale City Hall, 4910 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale. These office hours will run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Benefits assistance will continue to be provided in Soddy Daisy on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. These meetings are held at the  VVA Chapter 942 Hall, 9615 W. Ridgetrail Road in  Soddy Daisy.  These office hours will also be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Normal office hours will resume on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Veterans Service Office, 1250 Market St., Suite 1006 in Chattanooga.
