Pastor Hank Davis
Pastor Hank Davis, 66, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in a local hospital.
Pastor Davis was born in Santa Ana, Ca. and he was the son of the late Marva Lee DeLana Davis and Reverend James Thomas Davis.
His son-in-law, Angel Mercado; his maternal grandparents, Marlin and Marvin DeLana; and his paternal grandparents, Garland and Dortha Davis also preceded him in death.
Pastor Davis was a 1972 graduate of Ambassador Christian School in Santa Ana, Ca. From 1982-1990, he served as a national and international evangelist, preaching and teaching in Korea, Haiti, Israel, Germany and England. In 1990, he started and pastored the Church of the Harvest Church in Cleveland where he continued that work until his passing. Pastor Davis enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing but most of all he was know for his pastor's heart and was known as the "Pastor for the Pastors"!
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Pastor Rhonda Guiles Davis, Cleveland; daughters, Courtney Brown (Michael) and Christine Davis all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Skilar Mercado, Bailee Mercado and Jayda Brown; brother, Jimmy Davis (Sherrie), Apopka, Florida; aunt, Shirley Scott, Phoenix, Arizona; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. at the Omega Center International, Azusa Street, Cleveland, Tennessee 37312, with Reverend Marcus Lamb and Pastor Billy Burke officiating. Graveside service and interment will be conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Monday at the Omega Center International.
