Larry Vaughn Arp, 72, of Signal Mountain, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 25, 2021. 

Larry loved his family more than the world. He would be at every ball game, dance recital, swim meet, you name it, HE was there, cheering them on. 

Larry loved all things fun and games! He was always competitive, loved bingo and all types of music, and Larry never met a stranger.

He was born to the late, Willie H. and Clarene Stoner Arp.   

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Janet Swanger Arp; children, Deidre Arp and Matthew (Meredith) Arp; grandchildren, Elaine, Oliver, Emmitt, and Owen Arp; siblings Barbara Thompson and Robert (Joan) Arp; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with Pastor Dave Marcum, and Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Dunlap. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until service time.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
