The 3rd Annual Eddie Davis Memorial Bama Brawl weekend took place Friday-Sunday as over 150 race teams converged upon the 3/8's mile dirt track in Northeast Alabama for over $100,000 in posted prize money.

Super Late Models highlighted the weekend with a 50 lapper, paying $4,500 to-Win Sunday. Attrition was key and in the end "Hot" Rod Carroll of Anniston picked up the biggest win of his career after nearly the entire field dropped out. Carroll's teammate DJ Hayes finished second.

The United Championship Racing Alliance presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil kicked off its 2021 season much like it did in 2020. Local racer Sam Seawright beat out the competition for the $3,000 prize Sunday afternoon, for his second consecutive Bama Brawl title. Jerry Green (Knoxville), 2019 UCRA champ Jesse Lowe (Crossville), Kenny Kizzar (Soddy Daisy) and Tyler Nichols (Ringgold) rounded out the top five finishers.

The series heads to Tazewell (TN) Speedway in a month, March 20, for round #2 of the 2021 championship season.
