Aaron Spinks Joins Siskin Hospital

Siskin Hospital announces Aaron Spinks as the administrator of its SubAcute Program.
 
Mr. Spinks is responsible for the overall management of Siskin Hospital West, a skilled nursing facility within the Siskin Hospital system. He brings more than 12 years of leadership experience in the skilled nursing and long-term care industry and is a licensed nursing home administrator and a licensed preceptor. As a preceptor, he can conduct Administrator in Training programs for aspiring healthcare professionals who are pursuing a career as long-term care administrators. 
 
Mr. Spinks’ previous experience spans a variety of leadership roles in the skilled nursing industry including director of business development, regional director of operations and licensed nursing home administrator. Areas of expertise are operations management, business analytics, financial and strategic management, quality improvement and survey management. His past professional successes include reducing employee turnover, increasing resident satisfaction, improving quality measures and outcomes, multiple deficiency-free Tennessee Department of Health surveys, Joint Commission Certification Surveys, assessing and restructuring facilities struggling operationally and assisting facilities with improvements in compliance and survey outcomes.

“Aaron’s strong track record will ensure our CMS five-star facility continues to provide quality care to our patients and residents in the SubAcute Program,” said Siskin Hospital President and CEO Dr. Matthew Gibson. 
 
Mr. Spinks earned a bachelor in science in business administration from the University of Tennessee, with a double major in accounting and finance. He is enrolled at Lee University and will graduate with his masters of business administration in May 2022. He is an US Army veteran with more than five years of active duty, including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
