Hicks, Harold Lee "Pete" (Cleveland)

Harold Lee "Pete" Hicks, 93, passed away September 29.

Pete was born July 8, 1929 in Dayton. He enlisted in the USMC during WWII and served until his honorable discharge in 1948. He loved to share stories of his adventures and lived his life to the fullest.

Pete was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Ella Hicks and brothers, Gonnon, Kenneth and Herschell Hicks. His beloved wife, Dot, has been waiting for him. 

He leaves behind his daughter, Linda Gail; second "daughter," Roberta Webb; granddaughters, Jennifer Blair and Laura (David) Doneski; great-grandson, Benjamin Lee; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held, Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. at Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene.
