Notre Dame High School is excited to announce the appointment of Coach Jay Adamson as the Head Wrestling Coach. Coach Adamson graduated from Notre Dame in 2007 where he became a 2-time Individual State Champion and was a member of Notre Dame's 2006 and 2007 State Championship teams.

Coach Adamson has been an Assistant Coach at Notre Dame since 2019, has worked in the school’s guidance department, and has taught Marketing and Creative Writing.

"Jay has shown a passion for helping students reach their full potential as a coach and member of our guidance staff and he has a love for wrestling and Notre Dame," said Notre Dame Athletic Director Matthew Walker. "We are excited to see Jay continue the rich tradition of Notre Dame Wrestling as Head Coach."

"I am extremely humbled and grateful for the opportunity to continue to build on the rich tradition that is Notre Dame Wrestling," said Coach Adamson. "I’m blessed to have wrestled under great coaches when I was here as a student athlete as well as to have worked alongside them as an assistant coach over the last three seasons. I look forward to further serving the ND community and helping these young men win on and off the mat. Go Irish!"
