Warren Crutcher, affectionately known as “Kojack,” was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Mary Y. Crutcher and Bobby G. Crutcher on November 2, 1974. He transitioned from this life on August 30, 2023.

“Kojack” worked for the State of Tennessee for several years at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institution, where he met his BEAUTIFUL wife, Dewuanna Crutcher, and later married on December 19, 2014. He loved and adored his family immensely, especially his mother. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends, cracking jokes and making everyone laugh with his infectious laugh.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Susie M. Pitts; his grandparents, Hattie Bell (Duncan) Rawlings; and Charlie (Edith) Crutcher.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Dewuanna Crutcher, and mother, Mary Y Crutcher; father, Bobby (Barbara) Crutcher; brother, Quintan (Gail) Crutcher; sisters, Juanita, Yolanda, and Tabitha Crutcher; grandson, Demarquez Hyter; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held at 10-11 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, Sept. 15, at Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church, 400 Tunnel Blvd.

Interment will take place at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
