Cecelia Ann Dunn, 86, of Hixson, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1937, in Etowah, Tn., to the late William and Elizabeth Johnston.

She was of the Episcopal faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Owens Dunn and her nephew, Zachary Quinn Johnston.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wesley Owens and Kristi Dunn of Mt. Juliet, Tn.; grandsons, Will, Andy, and Jack Dunn of Mt. Juliet, Tn.; the Doxie Herd, brother, Bill Johnston and sister-in-law Jan; two nephews, Colby and Tyler Johnston, and a group of very close friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Harry M. Lawrence officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the MDS Foundation/Leukemia.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
