During Baylor's recent stretch of region games Junior Guard Zane Restelli eclipsed 1,000 points for his Baylor basketball career. Zane has reached this mark while helping lead this year's Red Raider team to a 21-5 record and a bye into the state quarterfinals vs. Pope John Paul II this Saturday.
"Zane is in the midst of a special career here at Baylor and has been a huge contributor to the success of our program. His coaches and teammates are proud to get the opportunity to share in this milestone with him," said Baylor head coach Mark Price.
Zane has played Varsity basketball at Baylor since the 8th grade and was named an All-Region and All-State performer in 2022-23. He is the program's first 1,000 point scorer since Beyuan Hendricks accomplished the feat as a senior in 2019.
Zane is currently at 1,102 points and counting.
