SmartBank announces Rachel Garcia has joined its team as a treasury management officer. 

In this role, Ms. Garcia will focus on cultivating new business opportunities supporting deposit relationships and expanding treasury management services for prospective clients.  

“We’re thrilled to have Rachel join our team as we continue growing in the Chattanooga market. Her industry background and local market knowledge will be invaluable assets to both the bank and our clients,” said Cortney Pierce, senior vice president and director of treasury management.

Garcia joins SmartBank with experience as a deposit operations and treasury manager.  

"She brings a comprehensive understanding of banking operations combined with a client-first focused delivery," officials said.

Ms. Garcia holds a bachelor of science degree in business with an emphasis in marketing and management from Bryan College, graduating in 2018, and earned her master’s degree in business administration in 2020.
