After two close losses to SEC powers, the Tennessee Lady Vols returned to their winning ways on Sunday afternoon - defeating Arkansas on the road 93-63.
The Razorbacks were up early 11-8, but did not score again until just under four minutes left in the quarter when Tennessee was ahead 16-11.
The Lady Vols did not trail again, making 15 steals and forcing 22 turnovers with their fast-moving, five in and five out offense under coach Kim Caldwell.
The lead was 47-33 at the half.
The Razorbacks, who lost one starter to graduation and four others to the transfer portal, were led by SEC leading scorer Izzy Higginbottom. The transfer from Arkansas State scored 26.
Leading Tennessee were Talaysia Cooper with 20, Zee Spearman with 18 and Ruby Whitehorn with 17. Sara Puckett had 11.
Mississippi State visits Knoxville on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The #16 Lady Vols improve to 14-2, 2-2, while Arkansas drops to 8-11, 1-3.
