Man Reports Stolen Work Van - And Other East Ridge Police Calls

Police responded to this location and met with the reporting party regarding his stolen work van. He stated that he parked the vehicle at the listed address yesterday. Upon attempting to start this morning, he discovered it was missing. The only keys were hanging by his front door, with no signs of forced entry, but were now missing. A tracker in the van enabled Cleveland PD to locate it in a gravel lot at SE Buchanan Rd and SE Ellis Rd, where it was found wrecked with airbag deployment.

Police were dispatched to the above address in reference to a found air compressor at the rear of the business.
The compressor was collected and put into property.

A man reported stolen mail, stating that mail began disappearing after his girlfriend moved in around. However, after her departure on or around July 8, he noticed the issue had ceased. He later discovered the missing mail in various locations throughout his home, including between seat cushions and mattresses.

Police on scene observed a distressed female running toward the restroom after accidently splashing a heavy amount of gasoline into her eyes. Hamilton County EMS showed up and assumed care of the injury.

Police responded to this location to take a report from a party regarding a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) violation. She reported that on February 2, the suspect left two letters on her porch addressed to his children. Additionally, last week, he left a note inside the cap of a baby formula bottle on her porch, pleading for forgiveness. These actions constitute a violation of the standing TPO, and warrants will be sought.

A woman was arrested on the job for suspicion of theft by embezzlement after “misplacing” over $1,000.00 belonging to her employer. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with Theft.

Following a crash at this location, a party was taken into custody on an alias capias warrant for driving on a revoked, suspended, or cancelled license. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issues.

Police responded to the listed location for a fight. Officers met with two victims who stated a female had come into the store and was trying to start a fight. The suspect left before the police arrived on the scene but was located a short time later. The suspect stated she was involved in a verbal altercation with the two victims but admitted to shoving one of them. Police were unable to obtain camera footage at the time of the incident. Charges are pending review of the footage

Police were dispatched to the parking lot of Pioneer Park for a suspect vehicle reportedly involved in an assault earlier this evening. The suspect was identified. She was questioned and released. Warrants are pending further patrol-level investigation.

Police conducted a consensual encounter with two parties sitting in the parking lot behind the hotel. The female was identified through her driver's license. The male provided a false identity. Police determined this was a false identity after the initial interaction. Officers were able to locate the party’s identity. The man was found to have outstanding warrants through Catoosa County. Police were able to locate the party and were attempting to detain him. At this point, he began to flee through the hotel. Police placed the male in custody after he ran out the back door. The party was charged with Evading Arrest, Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Impersonation.
