Juliana Grace Dover, lovingly referred to as Jules, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 24, 2026, having just celebrated her 26th birthday. She was the beloved daughter of Amy and Russell Dover of Ooltewah, Tennessee.

Juliana was an incredibly affectionate child, never missing the opportunity to give you a hug. In elementary school she preferred the company of her teachers more than others her own age. She was intelligent and bright, often referred to as a wise old soul. In middle school she became fascinated with neuroscience and reading about the complexities of the brain. Little did we know this would be foreshadowing of things to come and several mental illness diagnoses.

Juliana loved music. She tinkered with playing the oboe, piano, and clarinet and always dreamed of learning to play the violin and cello. She enjoyed attending concerts with her dad; travelling to several states to see Twenty-One Pilots. Her giftings didn’t stop with music, she was also artistically gifted and applied her creativity to several styles of art. But the absolute loves of her life were her cats. She was the best cat mama to Dottie, Allie, and Miso.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Peggy and Jerry Dover of Riceville, Tn. and her aunt, Regina Allen of Athens, Tn.

Those left to cherish her memory and happier years are her parents, Amy and Russell Dover; older sister, Rachel Dover; her maternal grandparents, Julie and Earl Freudenberg; her aunt and uncle, Tara and Mark Freudenberg, Jenny and Dallas Dover and other extended family members and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 3 p.m. with Mark Carpenter officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the McMinn Regional Humane Society at: 320 S. Jackson Street, Suite A, Athens, Tn. 37303 or www.mrhumane.org

Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
