Wilma Bragg Loy, 87, of Chattanooga died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002 in Greenville, Ky., after a lengthy illness.
She was born May 28, 1915, in Goodwater, Ala., to James Newport and Willie Mae Crumpton Bragg. She was a homemaker and a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Loy was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Loy Sr., in 1997. Survivors are a son, Samuel L. Loy Jr. of Greenville, Ky.; two daughters, Florence Rives Sells of Porter, Texas, and Mary Elizabeth Holt of Rockwell, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Clarice Nicely of Knoxville.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Private burial will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
