Mary Elizabeth Louise Brummett, 75, died on Saturday, March 4, 2006, at a local nursing home.
A lifelong resident of the Catoosa County area, she was a former employee of Sweetwater Carpet, where she worked for 32 years. She was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church of Ringgold.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Etha Oliver Brummett.
She is survived by three sisters, Willie Brummett, of Madison, TN, Thelma Figueroa, of St. Petersburg, FL, and Betty Jo Kurtz, of Keene, TX; two brothers, Robert Brummett, of Ringgold, and David Brummett, of Tappahannock, VA; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Keith Wiseman and Pastor Bill Clemons officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Rossville.
The family will receive friends all day Monday, all day Tuesday and until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home.
