Alma Riggs, 70, of Ooltewah, died Friday, May 19, 2006, in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late Luther and Annie Roy Burns.
She was also preceded in death by her 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Riggs; two daughters, Renee Teague, Ooltewah, and Roxanne Miles, Harrison; three grandchildren, Stacie Smith, Bridget Johnston and Rachael Scarbrough; five great-grandchildren, Cody and Brodie Johnston, Fisher and Sullivan Smith and Brinley Scarbrough.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Stitts officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Oliver, Gary Oliver, Terry Oliver, David Brooks, Van Hammon and Bobby Turner.
