A 22-unit townhouse project is planned at 13th and Cowart across from the Chattanoogan hotel.
Developers will go before the city-county Planning Commission on Nov. 12 to seek a zoning change for the $9 million project. The request is to go from M-3 to C-3 central business zone on the tract of 1.096 acres.
It will feature two- and three-bedroom townhouses priced in the mid-$300,000 to mid-$400,000 range.
Jack Webb is the developer, and Mike and Don Moon are also involved in the project. The property, which is behind Porkers BBQ, is owned by Harold Crye.
Work is expected to start next spring.
