Mary Long Friedman, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Friedman was a native of Rising Fawn, Ga., the daughter of the late Judson and Ada Long. She was also preceded in death by her husband Irving Friedman and brothers, Albert Long, Edgar Long, Herbert Long and Grover Long. She was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Fred) Cooper of Hurricane, W.V., Janet (Charles) Martin of Chattanooga, and Bob (Janet) Friedman of Los Angeles, Ca.; eleven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mims officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
