Crye-Leike, Realtors Broker Bruce Gillham has obtained his "Graduate Realtor Institute” designation. He is a licensed residential real estate sales associate in the company’s downtown Chattanooga branch office located at 1201 Market St.
“As a real estate broker, achieving the designation of GRI is one of my many goals in continuing to provide the highest level of knowledge and professionalism my customers and clients deserve,” said Mr. Gillham. “Additionally, having the knowledge this designation provides assists me when working with newer agents in promoting professionalism within the real estate industry.”
Mr. Gillham earned the GRI designation by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering a variety of subjects including: contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction.
“This designation further assists me in pursuing my goal of providing such extraordinary service that my clients will gladly refer me to their family, friends and acquaintances,” said Mr. Gillham. “As I work with first time homebuyers, which is one of the most fulfilling and satisfying parts of my business, this designation further provides me with the knowledge and confidence necessary to assist them through the real estate purchase process as effortlessly as possible.”
The Graduate Realtor Institute designation is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. Realtors with the GRI designation are trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients, officials said.
Mr. Gillham is a licensed broker in Tennessee and agent in Georgia assisting buyers and sellers in and around Hamilton, Bradley and Marion counties in Tennessee and Catoosa, Walker and Dade counties in Georgia. He specializes in all types of residential real estate sales with a focus on investment properties, first time homebuyers, down-sizers, empty nesters and seniors. Mr. Gillham is an Accredited Buyer Representative, Internet Professional Realtor e-PRO, member of the National Association of Realtors, Tennessee Association of Realtors and Chattanooga Association of Realtors in which he is a past vice chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee.
Prior to his work in real estate sales – Mr. Gillham enjoyed a 30-year career as an electric utility project controls and contract manager with the Tennessee Valley Authority and other public utilities. He also provided his skills and services as an independent consultant.
