Kay Goodwin Named Financial Center Leader At BB&T Ooltewah Branch

Kay Goodwin has been named the new financial center leader for BB&T’s Ooltewah branch. Scott Parker, head of retail banking operations for BB&T of Tennessee, made the announcement.

Ms. Goodwin’s professional banking experience ranges from starting as a teller to serving as a financial services representative and bank officer.

“Kay has been a consistently excellent performer in every phase of her career,” Mr. Parker said. “BB&T is one of America’s largest and strongest financial institutions because we have excellent people at every level who really care about our clients, believe in BB&T’s principles, and have absolute dedication to customer service. Kay is exactly that kind of professional.”

As financial center leader, Ms. Goodwin has responsibility for the branch’s services to customers, which include personal and small business depository accounts, personal and small business lending, investment services, mortgage lending and insurance services.

Ms. Goodwin, a Ringgold, Ga. native, graduated from Ringgold High School and attended Dalton State College. Ms. Goodwin has been working in the banking industry for 20 years.

She began her banking career in Chattanooga as a teller, advancing to progressively higher levels of responsibility to her new role as financial center leader.

“No bank in the country has a better reputation or record of client service than BB&T,” Ms. Goodwin said. “There is a special feeling at BB&T; I am very pleased to be part of the BB&T team.”

The Ooltewah branch is located at 9238 Lee Highway.
