Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm To Discuss Clean Energy Solutions In Chattanooga

Former Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm, senior policy adviser to the Pew Clean Energy Program, will highlight the role clean energy can play in job creation and economic development during visits with government, non-profit and business leaders on Tuesday, June 21, in Chattanooga.

The roundtable discussion, “Clean Power, Good Jobs, Energy Independence,” will be hosted by GreenSpaces, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 63 E. Main St., Chattanooga.

Ms. Graham is the former two-term governor of Michigan and currently is a Distinguished Practitioner of Law and Public Policy at the University of California. She is a regular contributor to NBC’s “Meet the Press,” and is authoring a book on the lessons Michigan’s experience can offer to America.

She serves on the board of directors for The Dow Chemical Company and Marinette Marine Corporation, the US-based subsidiary of Fincantieri-Cantieri Navali Italiani SpA.
